Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Tube Mill Helper for a local manufacturing company in Michigan. You will assist with tube production, remove finished tubes, and prepare packaging materials. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm with potential overtime.

Pay rate is $16.50 per hour, plus a $1 attendance incentive for each week. Responsibilities include supporting mill setup and changeovers, quality checks, and maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be mechanically inclined.
• Experience with hand tools preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Willing to perform hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished tubes from the end finisher and place on racks, skids, pallets, or in cartons.
• Follow the instructions of the mill operator and supervisor.
• Separate acceptable tubing from rejected material.
• Prepare packaging materials and tag completed racks.
• Perform quality checks and maintain production records.
• Assist with mill setup and changeovers (remove/install rolls, dies, knives, jaws, guides).

Job description

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Tube Mill Helper for a local company.

Primary duties of a Tube Mill Helper include removing finished tubes from the end finisher and placing them on racks, skids, pallets, or in cartons. The helper will follow the instructions of the mill operator and supervisor, separate acceptable tubing from rejected material, prepare packaging materials, tag completed racks, perform required quality checks, and maintain production and quality records.

The helper will also assist with mill setup and changeovers. This may include removing and installing rolls, cutting dies, knives, jaws, tube guides, holders.

Schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Overtime may be available. Pay rate is$16.50 an hour,eligible for an additional $1.00 per hour attendance incentive for each week.

Candidates for the Tube Mill Helper must:

• Be mechanically inclined.
• Have experience or familiarity working with hand tools.
• Be able to read a tape measure.
• Be willing to perform hands‑on work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
