Job summary

QXO is hiring a production associate in Dallas to operate cutting and fabrication equipment, read work orders, measure parts, and maintain quality. You will work with hand tools, follow safety policies, and help load/unload materials while keeping detailed production records.

Experience in manufacturing or construction is preferred. You should be able to lift 70+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work early mornings or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and tools to cut, shape, and prepare materials.
• Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and drawings for accuracy.
• Measure, cut, and verify materials using tape measures and tools.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials across the production area.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to production and inventory.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe; follow PPE policies.
• Support team to meet daily production goals; perform additional duties as needed.

What You'll Do

• Operate production equipment and tools to cut, shape, and prepare materials according to specifications
• Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and basic drawings to ensure accuracy
• Measure, cut, and verify materials using tape measures and other tools
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the production area
• Maintain accurate documentation related to production and inventory
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe, including end-of-day cleanup
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
• Support team members to meet daily production goals
• Perform additional duties as needed

• Comfortability with working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Comfortability with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• Ability to work working indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions if necessary
• Ability to work early mornings, extended hours, or overtime if necessary
