Job summary

QXO, Inc. in Gibsonton, FL is hiring production team members to operate equipment, read work orders, and cut, shape, and prepare materials to spec.

You will measure with tape, inspect finished products, document production data, and keep workstations safe and organized while supporting teammates to meet daily goals.

This role requires physical effort, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and willingness to overtime as needed; benefits include health care, 401(k) with match, and PTO.

• Ability to lift and move materials (50+ lbs as required).
• Comfortable with working indoors/outdoors in changing weather.
• Willingness to work early mornings, extended hours, or overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and tools to cut, shape, and prepare materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and basic drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Measure, cut, and verify materials using tape measures and other tools.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the production area.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to production and inventory.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe, including end-of-day cleanup.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Support team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
