Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Production Worker for its PCI Fabrication 112 Shop in Chula Vista, CA. You will work under the supervision of a Production Supervisor and perform tasks to meet daily production goals following established procedures and safety rules.

Starting wage is $22.62 per hour. Must have 2–3 years of work experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to communicate in English. Forklift experience is a plus; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Production Worker for its PCI Fabrication 112 Shop located in Chula Vista, CA. This individual will join other employees with similar responsibilities and will function under the direct guidance of a Production Supervisor. He/she will be assigned discrete work tasks and production goals each day by the Supervisor and is expected to execute production in accordance with documented procedures, which include safety protocols, production work instructions, and inspections.

Job responsibilities include:

• Attend daily safety briefings
• Conduct production set-up including staging raw materials
• Operate equipment required to cut insulation
• Apply adhesive through spray application
• Adhere facing to insulation materials
• Perform QA inspections
• Maneuver and package material for transport
• Participate in housekeeping
• Have good attendance and report to work on-time
• Remain vigilant to prevent workplace injuries and maintain product quality

Starting wage: $22.62 per hour.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of professional work experience
• High School graduate or GED
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior manufacturing experience, especially shipyard experience
• Ability to drive a forklift is a major plus
• Short commute to Chula Vista
• Experience working with compressed air, heavy machinery, and equipment
