Base pay range

$19.81/hr - $24.61/hr

Position Summary

The qualified individual will work as part of a team to weld fabricated metal products. The position requires successful completion of a welding test administered according to company guidelines.

Responsibilities
  1. Weld or tack weld metal parts using spot welding gun, pedestal welder, or MIG (GMAW) welding equipment.
  2. Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
  3. Use grinders or sanders to finish metal parts prior to painting.
  4. Position and secure workpieces using appropriate tools and equipment.
  5. Correct minor malformations in parts and examine for defects.
  6. Operate overhead crane or hoist to move parts.
  7. Maintain production records accurately.
  8. Check parts against Quality Control Documents.
  9. Participate in training programs to maintain and improve skills.
  10. Adhere to safety rules and wear protective equipment.
