This immediate 2nd shift welding opening in Minnesota offers steady work with a path to grow within a safety‑driven team, requiring training on days for up to 90 days. You will operate MIG welding equipment, read blueprints and process sheets, and interpret weld

Qualifications

• Two to three years' welding experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be an asset.
• Able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Thorough knowledge of welding procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines and work with various fixtures.
• Weld using MIG and other techniques as needed.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and process sheets.
• Interpret weld symbols and ensure quality.
• Complete tasks while meeting performance targets and quality standards.

2nd Shift Monday through Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am

Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY: As a member of the welding team, this position will be responsible to operate welding machines and work with a variety of weld fixtures while adhering to the CWB welding procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to weld using various material and techniques (specifically MIG).
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and/or process sheets.
• Ability to interpret weld symbols.
• Complete tasks while ensuring performance targets and quality are met.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Two to three years' welding experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Have great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset.
• Able to perform required duties with minimal supervision.
• Thorough knowledge of all types of welding procedures and practices.
