Job summary

RealTruck is hiring a full-time welder to join our production team in Kentucky. You will MIG & TIG weld, set up components, inspect welds, and ensure output goals are met hourly. Safety and quality are core values, and you’ll work with manual or semi-automatic equipment in multiple positions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to use a tape measure and calculate fractions.
• Must be able to meet daily productivity and output goals (production outputs are measured hourly/daily).
• Set up components for welding according to specifications, work orders and/or prints.

Responsibilities

• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical/ horizontal).
• Perform MIG & TIG welding on products.
• Repair product and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Weld components to specifications and cut aluminum to size.

Core Functions:

• Perform MIG & TIG welding on products.
• Perform cosmetic welding on products.
• Must be able to meet daily productivity and output goals (production outputs are measured hourly/daily).
• Set up components for welding according to specifications, work orders and/or prints.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical/ horizontal).
• Repair product and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.

• Cut aluminum to specifications.
