Wurtec is seeking a Welder to join our Toledo, OH facility. The role focuses on producing welded parts and assemblies in a warehouse setting, following safety standards and quality procedures.
You will read engineering drawings, use GMAW and GTAW welding processes, and work with jigs and fixtures. A commitment to ISO quality documentation and potential pursuit of CWB certification are encouraged.

A Welder will interact with the shop supervisor and other team members to ensure that jobs are completed in a safe, consistent, accurate and timely manner.
This role primarily operates in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled. The noise level is described as moderate and may be exposed to oils, fumes or airborne particles, or hazardous traffic conditions and requires the use of limbs to operate machinery. This role requires occasional lifting to 50 lbs. and requires standing for long periods of time, kneeling, neck rotation, pushing, reaching, stopping/twisting, grasping/gripping, pulling, reaching overhead, and squatting. Near visual and far acuity, and the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech is required. This role is not eligible to considered for remote work.
