Job summary

AJIN Georgia in Georgia is seeking entry-level production workers to operate manufacturing equipment and support quality, safety, and productivity on the floor.

Responsibilities include following standards, performing inspections, and maintaining daily records. MIG welding experience is preferred, with a willingness to lift heavy items and work with PPE in a conditioned environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completed.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding experience – MIG welding.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Able to lift objects weigh more than 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines assigned to production activities.
• Follow work standards and supervisor instructions.
• Conduct visual self-inspections on parts during production.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic record keeping.
• Adhere to PPE and safety practices.
• Suggest layout changes to improve operator cycle time.
• Conduct rework and defect tracking processes.

Brief Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

• Focus on SAFETY, QUALITY and PRODUCTIVITY
• Perform production activities as outlined in company policies and work
• Follow 3C 5S on the production floor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate machines assigned individually to perform production activities.
• Follow work standards and team leader’s or supervisor’s instructions.
• Conduct visual self-quality inspections on parts during production activities.
• Conduct daily equipment inspection and perform basic record keeping.
• Comply to safe work practices and make sure all required PPE are prepared.
• Improve operator’s cycle time by suggesting layout modification to team leaders or supervisors.
• Conduct rework activities and defect tracking processes.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

• High School diploma / GED
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding experience – MIG welding
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Excellent hand and eye coordination

Organizational Relationships:

• Accountable to the Production Team Leader or Supervisor for all phases of activities.
• Advises, consults, and coordinates with: Production Team Members / Operators
