Job description

Production Welder Responsibilities:

•Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions

•Position, align, and secure parts and assemblies

•Use a wide variety of power hand tools and grinders

•Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints

Production Welder Requirements:

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Previous automotive body and general mechanical experience.

•Efficient and able to multitask

•Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with other staff

•Ability to work with composites (carbon fiber) a plus.

•Welding experience is a plus.

•High attention to detail.

Production Welder Physical Requirements:

•Must be able to remain in a stationary position, such as standing for an extended amount of time

•Must be able to move about the production floor, ascending/descending ladders, or other equipment

•Constantly moving, stopping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, and crawling

•Must be able to observe and inspect materials and equipment

•Frequently moves materials and equipment weighing up to 50lbs

•Occasionally works in cold or hot temperatures
