Job summary

LGG INDUSTRIAL in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Production Specialist to join our hands-on manufacturing and distribution team. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on assembling products, receiving shipments, shipping orders, and delivering to customers when required.

You'll work in a safety-first environment, perform product testing, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and help with inventory and process improvements. Overtime, nights, and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• 3–5 years of warehousing or production experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintains 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Assembles products to company, customer and manufacturer's standards.
• Performs all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction.
• Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse.
• Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping.
• Delivers product as required.
• Operates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable).
• Assists with physical inventory.
• Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as trained and qualified for.
