Job summary

CORT USA is seeking a Warehouse Manager in San Diego, CA. The role oversees warehouse operations, inventory control, and truck loading for event furniture and delivery logistics.

You will supervise warehouse staff, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate internal inventory flow between facilities to meet event deadlines. The position requires a high school diploma and 3+ years in warehouse/logistics, with preference for supervisory and fleet-management experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 3+ years in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or event operations.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred and ability to manage warehouse personnel.
• Experience with shipping/receiving, inventory management, or fleet management preferred.
• Experience in trade shows, events, or hospitality is a plus.

• Leads staging and loading of trucks.
• Manages the flow of inventory between facilities within the organization.
• Leads inventory cycle counting efforts.
• Leads efforts pertaining to cleaning, repairing, or preparing furniture.

• Maintains safety activities to ensure compliance with DOT requirements and health standards.
• Regularly moves trucks between docks and assists with offsite deliveries.

Overview

CORT Events provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events,or eventhe Superbowl! The Warehouse Manager works collaboratively as a part of our operations team; overseeing warehouse personnel and ensuring that our product meets quality standards and arrives where it needs to. The Warehouse Manager also oversees deliveries at event and trade show venues and drives trucks as needed.

Pay

$65,000-75,000 / year depending on experience

Schedule

Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business, weekends are required

Responsibilities

• Oversees warehouse and inventory organization

• Maintains and monitors safety activities to ensure compliance with company and state regulations, DOT requirements, and safety/health standards
• Regularly moves trucks from dock to dock on the premises, and assists with deliveries offsite as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or event operations experience required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Shipping & receiving, inventory management, and/or fleet management experience preferred
• Prior experience in the trade show, event or hospitality industry preferred

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
• Ability to comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations
• Ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, which includes passing a physical and drug screening
• Ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements
• Acceptable MVR per CORT’s Safe Driving Standards
• Ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements
• Minimum 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
• Acceptable MVR per CORT’s Safe Driving Standards
