Job summary

NFI in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for basic repairs and upkeep of warehouse equipment as directed by the Operations team. You will diagnose mechanical/electrical failures, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure production machinery runs smoothly to meet daily needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4-6 years of related experience, strong communication, and ability to work under varying facility conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates mechanical and/or electrical failures in production equipment to determine appropriate corrective action.
• Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs all production equipment as needed.
• Operates production machinery according to production needs and inspects finished products for quality.
• Sets up, loads, starts, adjusts process variables, diagnoses, troubleshoots, and safely shuts down equipment per schedules and specs.
• Communicates repaired items list to Manager in a timely manner.
• Notifies about items that cannot be repaired and coordinates outside vendors as needed.
• Maintains tools required and budgets tool purchases.
• Supports the Safety Program and ensures maintenance areas meet regulations.
• Makes recommendations to upgrade or repair items to Manager.
• Maintains a list of contractors/vendors.
• Notifies shift supervisor of significant deviations from normal operations.
• Assists packers and material handling personnel.
