Job summary

Morgan Olson is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee line operations, coordinate shift activities, and ensure a safe, organized work area. You will lead operators, enforce SOP adherence, and drive performance improvements across the production line.

The role requires supervising staff, training team members in procedures, monitoring equipment, and generating production and incident reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Plan work schedule for a day or week across multiple employees.
• Direct and train line or cell team members.
• Instruct and train team in standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Observe machinery operation to detect malfunctions and report problems to maintenance.
• Promote 5S compliance by ensuring that all work areas are clean, orderly and labeled.
• Document all employee reports and prepare all necessary paperwork including accident reports.
• Complete production reports as required.
• Provide feedback on team member performance/non-performance to Department/Area Supervisor.
• Supports and participates in PPS team efforts.
• Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.
• Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.
