Magnattack is seeking to hire a reliable production and warehouse technician to work 5 days / week (Mon - Fri) in our Burnsville MN location.

Responsibilities

The Production and Warehouse Technician is accountable for:

PURCHASING

Required:

• Places PO on vendors for open orders and/or stock items for replenishment
• Ability to foster relationships with our manufacturing vendors to bring value adds to the company by negotiating best prices and lead times
• Can read, understand AND communicate key drawing requirements to vendors and during the QA checking process
• Ensure lead times from vendor will meet customer promise dates
• Use of Software for tracking of Purchase Orders
• Ability to give in the moment updates on current orders

Preferred:

• QBE Enterprise experience

RECEIVING

Required:

• Use of Software for receiving and tracking Inventory
• Quality Checks based on manufacturing drawings
• Staging parts to complete assembly while waiting for all required parts.

Preferred:

• Experience in use of QBE Enterprise Software to Manage inventory
• Inventory consumption and job traceability recording
• Performing periodic inventory counts of existing inventory and making necessary adjustments as needed.

PRODUCTION

Required:

• Strong Practical Mechanical aptitude
• SolidWorks experience and or CAD exposure
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
• Assembly of units
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Packaging of parcels and LTL outgoing shipments
• Arrange shipping to reach customer within promise dates
• Able to procure tools and materials for maintaining optimized operational functionality.
• Organize inventory, workstations, and structure facility for manufacturing needs.
• Other duties as required by management to support the operation of the business.
• Develop and maintain initiative whilst ensuring engineering principles are considered for and Company IP is protected.

Preferred:

• Welding experience or knowledge
• Pressure testing experience or knowledge
• Bead blasting experience or knowledge

WAREHOUSE

Required:

• Inventory management skills
• Packing and unpacking skills

Preferred:

• Understanding of OSHA Requirements

Other:

• Assessment and support of customer service / customer needs

• Be computer literate with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and other basic office programs.
• Be familiar with ERP systems (QuickBooks preferred)
• Apply practical decision making skills and use of good judgment.
• Operation of forklift
