Job summary

You will rotate between line positions, handle ingredients and packaging materials, restack pallets, and ensure GMP and quality standards are met while following safety procedures.

Our client, production and packaging operations is seeking a production warehouse to join their team. As a production warehouse, you will be part of the production floor supporting daily manufacturing and packaging needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: production warehouse

Location: Fort Madison, IA

Pay Range: $17

Shift: Day shift

What's the Job?

• Support production by performing prep work for operations, rotating between line positions, and assisting with daily tasks as assigned.
• Handle ingredients and packaging materials by opening and dumping bags of ingredients, filling nesting trays and carton magazines, and assembling cases.
• Manually place product onto the line, pack finished cartons into cases, and push full cases to the case sealer.
• Restack pallets by hand, lift and move materials as required, and keep the work area clean by performing housekeeping and cleanup while following safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and quality standards, attend required pre-shift and safety meetings, and perform safety checks and PPE use before starting daily operations.

What's Needed?

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime to meet production requirements.
• Regular attendance and reliability to support consistent output.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn to use equipment and tools used in production tasks.
• Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs repetitively.
