Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a hardworking Utility Worker to support loading and unloading raw materials and finished products, and to maintain plant and equipment cleanliness.

You will operate production machinery, assist machine operators, inspect products for quality, and follow safety rules to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, occasional travel to off-site locations, and prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Operates machinery used in production process or assists machine operators.
• Places products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting and wrapping.
• Examines products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Starts machines or equipment to begin production processes.
• Observes equipment operations and notifies supervisors of malfunctions.
