Job summary

Winchester in Oxford, MS is seeking a Production Utility Technician for Mil Pack operations. The role starts at $19.66 per hour with a raise to $22.00 per hour after 90 days based on successful evaluations. Training will occur on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd or 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities include removing finished product and inputting data, lifting up to 50 pounds, packaging, forklift operation, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. OT and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Recent, full-time work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift for six weeks before transitioning to 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekend hours.
• Prior Winchester experience in a relevant position preferred.

Location: Oxford, M Salary: $19.66 per hour with an increase to $22.00 per hour after completing 90 days with successful evaluations. Schedule: 2nd or 3rd shift: Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 11:30pm or 11:30pm - 7:30am after completing six (6) weeks of training on 1st shift (Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm). Website: Winchester.com

Minimum Requirements

• Industrial truck (forklift) or equivalent manual material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Recent, full-time work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse work experience.
• Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift (7:30am - 3:30pm) for six (6) weeks before transitioning to 2nd or 3rd shift primary assignment
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekend hours.
• Prior Winchester experience in a relevant position preferred

Physical Demands and Location-Specific Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a physical, drug screen and background check if job offer is received and accepted
• Ability to pass a functional physical testing and be able to use standard safety equipment and wear all required personal protective equipment (in extreme hot/cold environments)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required
• Successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
