Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a motivated general labor/production support teammate to assist the operator and production team with pallet wrapping, material handling, and facility upkeep. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and willingness to cross-train across production tasks.

Ideal candidates will be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work collaboratively within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and hear clearly on the job.
• Ability to stand for extended periods on feet.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Assist designated operator or production team in wrapping pallets and handling materials.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow safety regulations and use personal protective equipment at all times.
• Cross-train for other production roles as needed.
• Operate machinery or equipment safely as trained.
• Work with conveyors, ramps, or elevators as assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed and accommodate reasonable adjustments.

Description

Responsible for assisting designated machine operator or production team in a variety of functions including, but not limited to wrapping pallets, maintenance, clean up, warehouse, production, utilities, material handling and other. Specifically wrapping pallets/product and keeping wrap in stock throughout production. Manually move freight, stock, or raw materials and finished materials or perform other general labor. Includes all manual laborers not elsewhere classified.

Responsibilities

• Handles assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assigned
• Keeps work area clean
• Uses personal protection equipment at all times and follows all safety regulations
• Willingness to cross-train for other production roles
• Operates machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times
• May be required to work with conveyors, ramps, elevators, etc. as assigned
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear
• Requires the ability to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. from the ground level
• Capability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and your whole body – bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching
