Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of commercial underwriting experience with a focus on Environmental Liability.
• Proven track record of producing and growing environmental business.
• Strong knowledge of Environmental & Restoration Liability, Contractors Pollution Liability, Site Pollution, and related environmental products.
• Established broker relationships and strong market presence preferred.
• Excellent underwriting, marketing, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to evaluate complex risks and make sound underwriting decisions.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and grow a profitable portfolio of Environmental Liability business, including Environmental & Restoration Liability.
• Drive new business production through established retail and wholesale broker relationships.
• Evaluate, select, and price environmental risks while maintaining underwriting profitability and discipline.
• Analyze exposures, financials, loss history, and operational risks to determine appropriate coverage structures.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with brokers and agents.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to increase production within assigned territories.
• Identify opportunities for profitable growth while maintaining portfolio performance standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including claims, actuarial, and risk engineering teams.
