Join to apply for the Production Training Operator 3rd shift role at Westrock Coffee Company.

The Production Trainer is the highest tiered position in Machine Operations. They ensure that all knowledge gained from previous roles in Single Serve is retained by all other Operations Functions. The Production Trainer conducts training for new hires and retrains employees requiring additional training. They validate all production employees at hiring and promotion stages. This role embodies the highest level of knowledge, troubleshooting, and leadership in the Single Serve Department, outside of the Supervisor role. The Production Trainer reports directly to the Operations Manager and helps ensure daily production goals are met. They gather important data from daily production runs for reporting shift performance to upper management.

Production Trainers build and maintain professional relationships across all shifts and are the first line of defense in ensuring staff are properly trained before being released to their roles. They undertake various tasks and projects assigned by supervisors or upper management. They assist in breaking out operators for breaks and lunches to maximize efficiency and collect data at shift start and end for management reporting. When training is unavailable, this role also functions as a Machine Operator.

Additional responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop practical and interactive training content.
2. Providing quality training materials that meet specific requirements, including program design and evaluation techniques.
3. Supporting training governance and expanding learning opportunities across Production.
4. Proactively researching, resolving issues, and driving training initiatives independently or as part of a team.
5. Analyzing processes and data to identify training needs and develop appropriate materials.
6. Reporting on training progress and related projects.
7. Implementing innovative training techniques aligned with industry standards.
8. Participating in corrective actions when necessary.
9. Leading projects aimed at business improvement.
10. Setting and managing pass/fail criteria and accountability measures.
11. Assessing trainee needs and abilities, and recommending position changes to Supervisors and HR.
