Agropur Cooperative in Le Sueur, MN is seeking a Production Training Manager to lead site-wide training programs for our manufacturing population, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure execution of safety, quality, and operations initiatives.

The role drives the Education & Training pillar locally, aligns with global roadmaps, and builds a high-performing training team while integrating digital learning tools and AI-enabled content optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of learning and development/employee engagement experience.
• Manufacturing training experience required.
• Food Manufacturing training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead local production training strategy and site-wide training programs for the manufacturing population.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to deliver training on Health & Safety, Quality, Operations, Compliance, and Operational Excellence.
• Operationalize the Education & Training Local roadmap in alignment with Global Pillar leaders.
• Develop procedures and structured training programs aligned to global operations and plant goals.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership and Human Capital to align local training with cross-department input.
• Oversee execution of training programs and drive continuous improvement and technical skills development.
• Close operator standard work gaps to ensure full training and capability.
• Build and coach a high-performing local training team.
• Deploy digital learning tools to enhance accessibility and traceability.

We are looking for a Production Training Manager in Le Sueur, MN.

What you’ll be responsible for each day:

• This person will lead the local production training strategy operationalization, and execution of site-wide training programs for our manufacturing population to support manufacturing excellence.
• This role will also collaborate across corporate functional teams to deliver training on corporate initiatives and programs such as Health & Safety, Quality, Operations, Compliance, and Operational Excellence, etc. in alignment with the Education & Training Pillar Global roadmap.
• Operationalization of the Education & Training (E&T) Pillar Local roadmap in collaboration with the Education & Training (E&T) Global Pillar lead.
• Procedures and structured training programs aligned to global operations and plant strategic goals.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership, Human Capital and Operational Functions to align and implement the local training strategy with input from various departments.
• Lead the local execution of site-wide training operational training programs and delivery to our manufacturing population following a plan do check act approach for continuous improvement and technical skills development.
• Close operator standard work gaps to ensure employees are fully trained and capable to perform current and evolving work responsibilities.
• Build, lead and coach a high performing local training team.
• Lead the local deployment of digital learning tools to enhance accessibility and traceability in line with global roadmap.
• Explore evaluate and adopt technology and AI to optimize content, development and learning management.

The individual who will own this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Minimum five (5) years of learning and development/employee engagement experience required.
• Manufacturing training experience required.
• Food Manufacturing training experience preferred.
• An environment that values engagement and encourages everyone to take initiative.
