ABB Inc. in Senatobia, MS is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver all basic and standardized training to new hires and existing workers on the production line.

You will shadow new hires during their first days on the line, ensuring correct application of skills and safe practices, and you will organize and update training materials. The role reports to the Training Administrator and requires strong communication, mentoring, and coaching skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in training, manufacturing or production.
  • Previous experience in training, coaching, or mentoring roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • Ability to follow standardized procedures and enforce compliance.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications: Microsoft Excel, Teams, Power Apps, Email, etc.
  • Comfortable using laptops and digital tools for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with torque tools and basic assembly practices.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

This Position reports to: Quality Control Specialist

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver all basic and standardized training to all new hires and existing workers (theory, safety, basic skills, company culture). You will shadow new hires during their first days/weeks on the production line, ensuring correct application of skills and safe practices.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division in Senatobia, MS area.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions.
