WHAT YOU WILL DO:


As the Production Trainer, responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:



  • Mentor, provide explanation, and train other production associates in all areas of assigned products.

  • Provide technical leadership in regard to production best practices and processes. Pass along that knowledge to students.

  • Read, interpret and explain schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

  • Set the bar for quality Workmanship for other Technicians to emulate.

  • Reliably, neatly, and professionally demonstrate acceptable work performance.

  • Able to understand, describe and perform work as stated by the Specific Work Order.

  • Ability to work independently and utilize company's operating system as related to production projects.

  • Perform in-process quality inspections for fellow team members.

  • Be a valued member of the production team with the ability to positively influence others to support and meet company goals.

  • Ability to step in and support production leads as needed or interim.

  • May be called upon to serve as a Quality Inspector, Master Assembler or Team Leader from time to time as required by fluctuating workloads.

  • Positively influence Technicians and set them up for success in what we hope is a long and productive career with Phoenix Defense.


ABOUT YOU:



  • High School Diploma/GED or Associates Degree.

  • Advanced knowledge; 5 + years directly related work experience in electrical assembly.

  • Quality Management Systems - ISO 9001B, AS9100 and AS9102.

  • Expert Skills and IPC. J-Standard w/IPC. 610/620, 7711/7722, DS rated.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

  • Must Possess J-STD Certification .

  • Proficient computer skills (MS Suite).

  • Proof of eligibility to legally work in the U.S.
