Job summary

Mid-State Sales in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for our ISO 9001-certified production facility. You will TIG weld hydraulic fluid conveyance components using carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, set up Miller equipment, and maintain high quality in high-pressure service parts.

Qualifications

• Previous TIG welding experience and confidence in welding skills.
• Strong understanding of TIG techniques, machine setup, and process requirements.
• Pride in producing work that meets demanding performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld hydraulic fluid conveyance components including carbon steel tubing and end connections as well as stainless steel and aluminum products.
• Set up and operate Miller welding equipment for the material and application.
• Produce consistent, high-quality welds for products used in high-pressure service.
• Perform silver brazing, preparatory cleaning, and post-process braze scale removal.
• Assist with occasional in-house fabrication and repair work.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safe work practices.

You’ll help manufacture hydraulic fluid conveyance products designed for high-pressure applications—work that requires precision, care, and the skills of a welder who takes doing the job right seriously.
