Production Test Technician 3 (1st Shift Weekend) will be located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves developing leading-edge navigation and guidance solutions with state-of-the-art inertial sensors and electronics.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience.
Experience reading and understanding Assembly Instruction and Test Procedures.
Experience in using digital multi-meters and other lab test equipment.
Must be available for 1st Shift Weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing testing environment.
Previous experience working closely with Test and Manufacturing engineers.
Previous experience trouble-shooting navigational Instruments.
Associates Degree.
Active Secret Clearance.
Salary Range: $51,200 - $85,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
