Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Goleta, CA is seeking a Production Test Technician to perform electro-mechanical assembly operations on camera-related products including prototypes, pre-production, and production units. The role involves following wiring, installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing per documentation within a manufacturing environment.

Primary duties include building varied camera assemblies, verifying parts, supporting documentation, and occasional testing.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble wide variety of cameras from sub-assemblies to production units per manufacturing docs.
  • Verify kits and parts are complete and correct.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineering with assembly documentation and revisions.
  • Perform low-level testing as required.
  • Verify accuracy of finished assemblies and data for quality output.
  • Process assemblies using adhesives, coatings and epoxies as needed.

Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on mechanical assembly of units.Electro-mechanical assembly of electronic camera related products, including engineering prototypes, pre-production, and production assemblies.
