Motorola Solutions in the Chicago area seeks an experienced Testing Engineer to design, develop and implement test hardware and software for production testing of new products. You will evaluate deadlines, goals and develop project schedules.

Responsibilities include improving yields, reducing test time, and optimizing flows; analyzing designs for cost, reliability, and testability; and presenting technical reports to guide decisions. Requires a BS and 2+ years in testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or SE required.
• 2+ years as Software Engineer or Hardware Testing Engineer.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement test hardware and software for production testing of new products.
• Evaluate deadlines, goals and develop project schedules.
• Improve test yields, reduce overall test time, and optimize test/process flows.
• Analyze equipment designs/processes for market requirements, manufacturability, cost and testability.
• Prepare and present technical reports to influence decision making.
