Title: Production Technician 1 Weekend II Position (Fri, Sat & Sun, 6:00 pm to 6:30 am)

Job Type: Full-time

Reports To: Shift Coach

Location: Plant Facility

Job Purpose Summary

This position is responsible for specific tasks related to production. The job holder will be fully trained, competent, and experienced in fulfilling all requirements of the assigned tasks. The role also involves ensuring the safe and clean operation within their area of responsibility.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Follow proper Work Instruction procedures, including lab testing for conformance and product integrity.
  • Coordinate production with the Shift Coach to meet production goals.
  • Ensure procedures for production security and biosecurity are followed.
  • Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as forklifts for material handling.
  • Sample products and perform qualified testing as per Quality instructions.
  • Perform sanitation on equipment as required.
  • Adhere to GMP and other quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervision

No direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment; previous food industry experience preferred.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain records.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory testing equipment and documentation processes.
Nonessential Qualifications
  • Basic English speaking and writing skills.
Materials and Equipment Used
  • Forklifts and manufacturing equipment for handling materials.
  • Office machinery like calculators, computers, printers, copiers.
Working Environment / Physical Demands

Requires prolonged standing, bending, climbing, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 75+ pounds. Exposure to machines, chemicals, and varying environmental conditions is expected.

Salary

$20.00 per hour
