Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. at the Alpena Cement Plant in Michigan seeks a diligent production operator to support shift-driven manufacturing. The role includes mechanical tasks, inspections, and operating mobile equipment while maintaining strict safety standards.

The position is physically demanding and requires adherence to safety protocols; weekend and holiday work may be required. Associates/Technical Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work in a physically demanding shift.
• Must adhere to PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct environmental issues during daily shift operations.
• Provide troubleshooting and process changes recommendations based on test results.
• To perform shift and pre-start inspections and ensure safety/maintenance issues are addressed.
• Maintain quality parameters in accordance with Amrize and ASTM guidelines.
• Measure silos as needed and manage material flow.
• Wear PPE and follow health, safety, and environmental policies.
