Job summary

Centaurus Farms in Monticello, KY, seeks an experienced Cannabis Production Technician to join the largest production team. You will harvest, dry, buck, and trim, processing roughly one room per week with fresh frozen shares.

Qualifications include passing the Kentucky cannabis agent background check and prior cannabis trim/harvest experience. You will work in a cold environment with 8+ hours shifts and may lift up to 50 lb.

• Experience operating machine trimmers.

Responsibilities

• Cut down, hang, or process plants for fresh frozen as assigned.
• Buck dried flower from stems efficiently and without damage.
• Operate machine trimmers and/or hand-trim flower to grading standard.
• Weigh and label all batches accurately; record in tracking system as directed.
• Sort flower into A-bud, B-bud, smalls, and trim/shake categories.
• Bag, weigh, and freeze fresh frozen material within required time window.
• Sanitize tools, surfaces, and trim machines between batches.
• Maintain a clean and organized production area.

This position is reserved for individuals who have some level of experience in the cannabis industry. We welcome candidates who a) currently work here or b) have experience from a previous employer. Thank you for understanding this requirement.

Position Summary

This position executes harvest, drying, bucking, and trimming work. It is a more experienced candidate than the Tier I Production Technician. The largest single team in the facility. Sized to process one room per week at ~200lbdry equivalent, with up to 30% diverted to fresh frozen.

• Operate machine trimmers and/or hand-trim flower to grading standard
