Location: Indianapolis, IN 46256

Schedule: 10:30pm - 7am, Sunday-Thursday

Pay rate: $22.23/hr on W2

Job Description

Experience preferred, but not required:

  • Machine Operator skills

Job Duties

The ACCU-CHEK portfolio offers people with diabetes innovative products, services and comprehensive solutions for convenient, efficient and effective diabetes management. ACCU-CHEK products include blood glucose meters, insulin delivery devices, lancing devices and data management systems.

  • Support (diabetic testing strips) packaging by setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines used in packaging.
  • Maintain and improve quality systems and achieve quality objectives through daily actions.
  • Assist with packaging and labeling vials and finished products.
  • Operate, monitor, and clean machinery as needed.
  • Load boxes, vials, and pamphlets into machines for packaging and distribution.
  • Lift and carry products and materials to QC, recycling, trash, or other areas.
  • Use pallet jack to move materials and pallets for storage or shipment.
  • Audit packaged materials for quality.
  • Perform quality control on incoming components, inspecting parts, orders, and equipment for quality and safety.
  • Ensure personal and area safety.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
  • Build boxes for products and perform final box closing, including scanning for content.
  • Prepare and shrink wrap pallets for shipment.
  • Transport pallets of products to designated areas.
  • Complete paperwork duties as needed.
  • Rework between 2,000 and 5,000 pieces per day.
