Job description

Job Title: Production Technician - Strip Pack - 2nd Shift

Hourly Rate: $21.45/hr

Schedule: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday-Friday; occasional weekends required.

Position Type: Contingent

Experience (Preferred but Not Required):

1. Machine Operator skills
2. Manufacturing experience
3. Experience in GMP environment
4. Experience in ISO environment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support packaging of diabetic testing strips, including setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines.
2. Maintain and improve quality systems, achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
3. Use technology-driven software for machine operation.
4. Assist with packaging and labeling vials and finished products.
5. Operate, monitor, and clean machinery as needed.
6. Load products into machines, and move materials using pallet jacks.
7. Audit packaged materials and perform quality control on incoming components.
8. Ensure personal and area safety.
9. Perform general housekeeping duties.
