Job summary

Welch Packaging Group in Indianapolis is seeking a production associate to work in our facility. You will follow safety procedures, meet quality expectations, and help maintain efficient build rates in a fast-paced environment.

Roles include assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering and taping boxes. Candidates should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year in manufacturing, plus strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes.
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate.
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant.
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

Shifts:

1st Shift - Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM

2nd Shift - Monday-Thursday 2:30PM-1:00AM ($1.00 shift differential)

Shifts:

1st Shift - Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:00PM

2nd Shift - Monday-Friday 2:00PM-10:00PM ($2.00 shift differential)

3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday 10:00PM-6:00AM ($0.50 shift differential)

SUMMARY

Work in a production environment following all safety procedures, quality processes and hitting our targeted build rates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
