Job summary

Welch Packaging in Ohio is seeking a dedicated production worker to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will follow safety procedures, ensure quality processes, and help hit targeted build rates while maintaining 100% accuracy in the products you assemble.

This role requires sharp attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods. Day shifts and weekend coverage may be required depending on production needs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes.
• Ensure product being built meets specs and is 100% accurate.
• Maintain productivity to help ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Uphold housekeeping standards of the plant.
• Work as a team with all facility members.
• Assemble, stack, wrap, staple, glue, sticker, and tape boxes.

SHIFTS

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:00PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00PM-10:00PM

Essential Functions

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
