Provide production operation duties to ensure efficient unit operation, high-quality product output, and proper, safe equipment operation in accordance with Plant Policies and OSHA safety regulations. Responsibilities include performing light maintenance such as pump oiling, minor filter changes, small steam leak and trap repairs, utility readings, reviewing P&IDs and SOPs, inputting quality alert data, and other duties as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work a 12-hour rotating shift
• Work overtime as needed
• Work in extreme conditions (temperature and humidity)
• Detect defects and errors
• Communicate clearly and accurately
• Work under pressure
• Read and comprehend job procedures
• Bending/Stooping, Standing, Squatting, Walking during shifts
• Ascending/descending stairs, Reaching, Pushing/Pulling, Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Vision for color, motion, fluids; Use of hands
• Sense of smell for chemicals, burning materials
• Mobility for various tasks, Climbing, Turning/Twisting
• Wear proper safety equipment
• Driving forklifts, trucks, cars (automatic/manual transmission)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant environment
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime
• Mechanical aptitude
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen, fitness test, and background check

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Over 5 years relevant industrial experience
• Distributive Control System (Board Operator) experience preferred
