Job description

Production Technician

The Production Technician is responsible for carrying out all routine operations and operating equipment within the plant. The position operates 5:30pm – 6:00am on every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate production machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, hoses, and other equipment.
• Handle cased goods within the manufacturing area and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Weigh and prepare raw materials for processing and document production activities accurately.
• Provide line operator coverage during rest periods and assist with troubleshooting equipment problems.
• Perform general housekeeping and plant clean‑up as needed.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and production goals as a member of the team.
• Assist with maintenance activities and carbon recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteer opportunities as part of Corporate Responsibility.
• Attend all scheduled shifts and be prepared for overtime and weekend work as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hands to handle, reach, and move objects and to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working with moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, and occasional extreme cold.
• Capable of remaining at a work station for a minimum of three continuous hours.
