Your Responsibilities

As an Aseptic Technician I, you will play a key role in vaccine production while upholding rigorous standards for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Filling & Aseptic Processing

• Prepare, manage, and disassemble equipment used for vaccine filling.
• Utilize various filling lines to process vaccines into different product formats.
• Execute aseptic techniques and clean room protocols to help maintain a compliant GMP environment.
• Maintain sterile conditions by wearing necessary clean room attire and protective gear.
• Utilize a variety of both mobile and fixed manufacturing tools.

Lyophilization & Capping

• Support the lyophilization cycle by loading freeze-drying units.
• Complete final product sealing by applying aluminum caps.
• Ensure the safe operation of machinery involving steam and other industrial processes.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all GMP documentation, including batch records and SOPs, is completed with precision.
• Adhere to all site-specific policies, regulatory mandates, and established workflows.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure all necessary materials are properly tracked and available.
• Help maintain a safe working environment by following all safety and financial protocols.

Teamwork & Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with your immediate team members within the clean room.
• Foster clear communication across the department and with other internal teams.
• Promote a workplace culture that prioritizes safety, quality, teamwork, and ongoing process improvements.

Your Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• A disciplined approach to following complex procedures within a strictly regulated setting.
• Availability to work a 3rd-shift schedule, including weekend shifts as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Education beyond high school in a scientific or related field.

• Prior background in pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory, animal health, or similar regulated manufacturing sectors.

• Operating in environments with fluctuating temperatures.
• Performing frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and handling of equipment to ensure smooth production flow.
• Executing repetitive tasks involving the hands, fingers, and wrists.
• Lifting and transporting items ranging from 5 to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Committing to a 40-hour work week with the flexibility for overtime when necessary.
