Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. in Upper Mt Bethel, PA, is seeking a Production Technician - Nitrogen for a 6-month contract to start up and operate two ultra-high purity nitrogen plants, manage cryogenic gas systems, and perform on-site calibrations.

The role requires 1 year of related operations experience, a High School diploma or GED, and proficiency with MS Office and HMIs, plus adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Shifts are 12 hours, nights/weekends, with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related operations experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google; familiarity with operator interfaces (HMIs).
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Start up and operate two ultra-high purity nitrogen plants (air separation units).
• Adjust plant operations using process control systems to meet production demands.
• Complete operational and maintenance tasks as part of an onsite team.
• Respond to plant alarms on nights and weekends when on-call.
• Perform daily rounds, readings, and calibrate onsite gas analyzers.
• Manage cryogenic tank inventories and customer supply.
• Complete preventative maintenance work orders per the published schedule.
• Maintain compressors, piping systems, cooling water systems, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot cryogenic gas systems and interpret P&IDs.
• Adhere to all HSE standards and maintain high safety protocols.

Contract Details

• Pay Rate: $23.00–$25.00 / Hour (USD)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
