Job summary

TRUMPF North America is seeking a manufacturing operator in Cranbury Township, NJ. The role requires setting up, equipping, operating and programming machines, determining production sequences, and ensuring data feedback is in the system.

You'll perform inspections, weld and render welding assemblies, and participate in quality and lean manufacturing activities. Two years’ experience and ability to work independently or in a team are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience as a manufacturing operator.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronic field or optics assembly welcomed.
• Good inter-personal skills and ability to use a computer and standard software packages.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Must wear a smock covering the entire body while working.

Responsibilities

• Set up, equip, operate, and program machines and determine production sequence.
• Provide data feedback in the system and manage tools.
• Perform/Document workpiece inspection and weld/render welding assemblies.
• Weld seam inspection and prototype testing as required.
• Maintain manufacturing equipment and follow TRUMPF procedures.
• Prioritize tasks and maintain safety and quality standards.
