Job Overview

Are you a new or experienced pharmacy technician? MHealth Fairview is looking for you to join our team at our Kasota location in Minneapolis! This benefits-eligible position is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours/2 weeks) on the day shift.

Assist in producing 503b sterile and non-sterile products that meet or exceed all cGMP requirements. Support IntegraDose operations by ensuring correct supplies are used, facilities are properly cleaned, and equipment is maintained. Ensure the highest quality of products through strict adherence to aseptic procedures.

Aseptic Technique:

• Develop and maintain proficiency in aseptic technique in IV medication compounding.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and functional work area daily.
• Properly don and doff sterile garb to maintain aseptic conditions during production.

Production:

• Ensure all products are properly prepared and cleaned for entry into the cleanroom.
• Select appropriate supplies according to production batch record (PBR) specifications.

Supply and Documentation:

• Double-check all supply items.
• Verify PBR accuracy and completeness.
• Identify errors and follow up with relevant staff.
• Complete all documentation, electronic and paper, in compliance with cGDP.

Packaging and Labeling:

• Package medications ensuring safe handling and temperature control.
• Label medications with product and ancillary labels.

Equipment and Maintenance:

• Maintain and clean equipment, including pumps.

Regulatory and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all records are current and accurate.
• Properly store hazardous waste and maintain documentation.
• Clean hoods, carts, bins, work tables, and equipment daily; clean ISO7 and ISO8 spaces weekly.
• Assist in maintaining a safe work environment and keeping the department in good condition.

Regulatory Standards:

• Comply with all relevant statutes and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining organizational and coworker compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Course or equivalent experience.
• Registration with MN Board of Pharmacy (or pending registration).
• One to three years of IV pharmacy experience.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
