Production Technician - Immediate Opening, Vacation First Year

Starting at $24/hr with benefits including PTO starting immediately. The role involves working on a rotating schedule in a 24/7 plant, with a fixed schedule that offers a night and weekend shift differential.

The position is progressive, beginning with operating production drying equipment, with training provided. Responsibilities include operating Drum Dryers, changing knife blades, performing rework, following safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, and experience with hand tools. Previous manufacturing or chemical processing experience and forklift operation are preferred.

Physical demands include lifting up to 55 lbs, with exposure to dust and temperature variations. The role offers 80 hours of vacation in the first year, tiered pay increases, and advancement opportunities.
