Hours

6:30 am - 3:00 pm (1st Shift)

Summary

Provide maintenance services and machine set-ups to the Carpentersville facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Set up and adjust machinery on the production floor.
2. Provide technical assistance as needed.
3. Inspect machinery for issues.
4. Investigate and resolve manufacturing problems under supervision.
5. Assist Production Supervisors.
6. Set up and troubleshoot tooling and fixturing.
7. Recommend improvements to production tools and equipment.
8. Assist in training new Technicians.
9. Mix and supply epoxy to production.
10. Complete PM and calibration work orders from E-Maint.
11. Verify safety devices on tooling and fixturing daily.
12. Report problems to the Technician Supervisor.
13. Initiate tooling repairs and rework orders under supervision.
14. Work with Tool Room staff to resolve tooling issues.
15. Verify initial production runs of new or reworked tools.
16. Maintain inventory of spare parts.
17. Ensure toolbox is equipped with necessary tools.
18. Assist in property rearrangement as needed.
19. Dispose of materials responsibly.

Education and Experience

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Five to seven years of related experience or training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
