Job summary

Quva Pharma, Inc. in Bloomsbury, NJ is seeking a Production Technician I – ILP to support visual inspection, labeling and packaging operations after completing training. You will be part of a mission-driven team delivering safe, quality medications in a compliance-focused environment.

This full-time, second-shift role runs Wednesday through Saturday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM at the Bloomsbury site and may involve overtime commitments. Safety-sensitive position with drug testing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Color perception exam required with passing result.
  • Vision exam with 20/20 vision (with or without correction).
  • Drug and background check required.
  • 18+ years old and able to work in the United States full-time.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of inspection and packaging room materials and supplies.
  • Labeling and processing of production materials as required.
  • Daily/bi-weekly/monthly cleaning of room and equipment; complete maintenance forms per SOPs.
  • Conduct line and room clearances following established procedures.
  • Document activities per GDPs, comply with cGMPs and ISO standards.
  • Notify management of deviations to established processes or procedures.
  • Assist other areas (cleaning, non-sterile filling, kitting) as needed.
  • Perform primary, secondary, and tertiary labeling of products.
  • Package product for secondary and final packaging.
  • Maintain inspection-ready environment and support internal/external audits.
  • Adhere to policies; complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.

Description

Our Production Technician I – ILP plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include supporting execution of product visual inspection, labeling and packaging (ILP) operations at the Quva facility in accordance with established processes and procedures. This is a full-time role for our 2nd Shift , working Wednesday - Saturday from 3:00PM to 1:30AM. This is a set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements and based on site in our Bloomsbury, NJ location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.

  • Assists preparation of inspection and packaging room materials supplies
  • Conducts labeling and the processing of production materials as required
  • Daily/ Bi-Weekly/Monthly cleaning of room and equipment and fills out appropriate preventative maintenance forms and checklists in accordance with SOP’s
  • Conduct and complete line and room clearances as per established procedures
  • Completes necessary documents for accountability and traceability of products following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs); comply with cGMPs, and company ISO standards
  • Complies with 503B guidelines; cGMPs, standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Performs equipment calibration checks and troubleshoots production equipment as needed
  • Completes documentation of activities in accordance with established procedures
  • Immediately notifies production management of deviations to established processes or procedures
  • Assists other areas as needed (cleaning; non-sterile filling; kitting and preparation operations, etc.)

Minimum Requirements for this Role:

  • High school Diploma or GED from recognized institution or organization required
  • Will be required to undergo a color perception exam and must be able to produce a passing test result
  • Will be required to undergo a vision exam and must be able to produce 20/20 vision with or without correction
  • Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
  • 18+ years of age
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva will not sponsor applicants for work visas
