Job summary

Quva is seeking a Production Technician I – ILP in Bloomsbury, NJ to support visual inspection, labeling, and packaging operations after training. This safety-sensitive, full-time role fits 1st and 2nd shifts and involves strict adherence to established processes to ensure safe, effective, and compliant medications for patients across the US.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must pass color perception exam with a passing result.
  • Vision exam with 20/20 vision (correctable or not).
  • Able to pass drug and background check.
  • 18+ years of age; authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist preparation of inspection and packaging room materials and supplies.
  • Labeling and processing of production materials.
  • Daily/bi-weekly/monthly cleaning of room and equipment; complete maintenance forms per SOPs.
  • Perform line and room clearances per procedures.
  • Document activities for accountability and traceability per GDPs; comply with cGMPs and ISO standards.
  • Comply with 503B guidelines; follow SOPs and policies.
  • Calibrate equipment checks and troubleshoot production equipment as needed.
  • Document activities; notify management of deviations.
  • Assist other areas (cleaning, non-sterile filling, kitting) as needed.
  • Labeling of products (primary, secondary, tertiary) and packaging steps.
  • Visual inspection of products; maintain inspection-ready environment; support audits.

Job description

Our Production Technician I – ILP plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include supporting execution of product visual inspection, labeling and packaging (ILP) operations at the Quva facility in accordance with established processes and procedures. This is a full-time role in our Bloomsbury, NJ location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.

1st shift 6:30am- 3pm

1st shift 4:30 am-3pm

2nd shift 3pm- 11:30pm

2nd shift 3pm- 1:30am

What The ILP Technician Does Each Day
  • Assists preparation of inspection and packaging room materials supplies
  • Conducts labeling and the processing of production materials as required
  • Daily/ Bi-Weekly/Monthly cleaning of room and equipment and fills out appropriate preventative maintenance forms and checklists in accordance with SOP’s
  • Conduct and complete line and room clearances as per established procedures
  • Completes necessary documents for accountability and traceability of products following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs); comply with cGMPs, and company ISO standards
  • Complies with 503B guidelines; cGMPs, standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Performs equipment calibration checks and troubleshoots production equipment as needed
  • Completes documentation of activities in accordance with established procedures
  • Immediately notifies production management of deviations to established processes or procedures
  • Assists other areas as needed (cleaning; non-sterile filling; kitting and preparation operations, etc.)
  • Primary, secondary, and tertiary labeling of products
  • Secondary and final packaging of product

Minimum Requirements For This Role
  • High school Diploma or GED from recognized institution or organization required
  • Will be required to undergo a color perception exam and must be able to produce a passing test result
  • Will be required to undergo a vision exam and must be able to produce 20/20 vision with or without correction
  • Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
  • 18+ years of age
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva will not sponsor applicants for work visas

  • The base compensation for this role is estimated to be within the range described below. The compensation offered may vary depending on relevant factors such as experience, skills, training, education, certifications, geographic location, and market conditions
  • Range: $18.00 - $21.00 / Hour
