Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Durham, NC seeks a Production Technician Level 1 for a 12-month assignment. You will perform GMP-based setup and operation in a manufacturing environment, following SOPs and safety programs. Degree in Science or Engineering or 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.

You will support equipment and materials handling, inventory, QA/QC checks, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and timely production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Engineering with 0–1 year of experience, or candidates with no degree but 3+ years of experience will be considered.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down GMP space/equipment, accurately and efficiently move process materials (up to 50 lbs) in accordance with procedures
• Work in compliance with procedures, documentation, government regulations, and safety programs (appropriate SOPs)
• Manage inventory and tasks for aseptic growth, including equipment preparation and movement
• Operate and monitor equipment (including RCCS, shell freezers, Wheaton Carts, Tube Welders) as deemed by skill level to set QC status and expiry of sterile equipment
• Provide materials and support to maintain equipment, systems knowledge (SAP, MES, Kanbans, PLC), and sample delivery
• Label and manage inventory of clean/sterile equipment and transfer samples
• Participate in safety training and compliance events

Overview:

Join a dynamic team as a Production Technician Level 1, where you will perform various operational tasks in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with a degree in Science or Engineering or those with significant experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
