Job summary

O-I is seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician / Selector to join our operations team in a fast-paced glass packaging facility. You will visually inspect ware, set up ware on lehrs and conveyors, and tend to case packer/robot systems, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, safety mindset, and willingness to learn new technologies; lifting 25 pounds and rotating schedules including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect ware and remove defects to meet quality standards.
• Set up ware on lehrs and conveyors, adjust carton flow as needed.
• Dislodge ware on straight-line equipment and monitor conveyors.
• Tend to case packer/robot systems and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Inspect filled case conveyor, fill cartons as needed, verify carton glue and appearance.
