Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Bagdad, AZ is hiring a Production Technician to support 12-hour rotating shifts and learn plant operations under guidance of senior technicians.

You will work to ensure safe, compliant production processes and coordinate with scheduling to meet customer needs. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and are authorized to work in the U.S.; willingness to work nights, weekends, and on-call rotations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to work a flexible 12-hour rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call rotation.
• Must have valid U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates and shares basic skills for the process plant with senior technicians.
• Participate in Time-Out investigations and document incidents in Intelex; assist with work orders and procedures.
• Acquire knowledge of all plant operations and site-specific action plans.
• Support training requirements for on-site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors and coordinate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, cGMP, MOC/PPSR policies and company procedures.
• Collaborate with national/local product scheduling to meet customer requirements and ensure timely delivery with accuracy.
• Demonstrate safety-minded practices and complete required HSEQ training.
• Complete Airgas Safety Pledge and related introductory training.
