Job summary

PURIS Grains is seeking a Production Technician at our Harrold, SD facility. You will monitor plant equipment, ensure product flow, and maintain safety standards while supporting packaging and quality checks. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to GMPs in a fast-paced food production environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, willingness to learn, and ability to handle physical tasks. Some forklift experience and manufacturing exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of GMPs and Food Safety a plus.
• 1 year or more in a manufacturing environment or some type of agricultural experience preferred.
• Prior fork truck experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant equipment to maintain peak performance and take corrective actions.
• Perform routine and non-routine tasks safely and support safety culture.
• Assist with receiving raw materials into the facility.
• Complete documentation and process check sheets regularly.
• Operate packaging equipment and perform quality checks throughout the process.
• Load various types of shipping containers and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs.
