About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Technician eager to learn and grow in the optical field onsite in Obetz, Ohio. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, is receptive to feedback, and is looking to advance their career. Open roles are available in departments such as Mounting, Surface Operation, Final Inspection, AR Coating, and Lens Analysis. Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm (overtime and weekends as needed)

Compensation: $17 - $19/hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Picking and unpacking lenses and frames for customer orders
• Preparing and loading lenses into machines
• Performing beginner-level mounting of lenses into frames
• Organizing receipted goods into correct locations
• Maintaining good housekeeping and adhering to 6S standards
• Meeting daily and monthly KPIs
• Following all company policies, processes, and safety procedures
• Reporting activities and issues to management
• Supporting inter-departmental operations

Basic Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Proactive with problem-solving abilities
• Ability to follow instructions and production schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehousing experience is a plus
